Terms and Conditions

  • All orders are subject to tax, if applicable. The taxes will be calculated and added to your order total.
  • Order ships Best Way, Prepay & Add unless otherwise specified at time of order.
 
  1. All returns must be authorized by us.
  2. Please inspect merchandise upon receipt and note any damage on bill of lading.
  3. No liability is assumed by this company for damage and or injury resulting from use of equipment supplied by this company.
  4. Occasionally prices and specifications change without notice due to circumstances beyond our control.
  5. Due to economic conditions in the steel industry, products containing steel may have an additional surcharge.

 

Return/Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise also must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition. Returned merchandise is also subject to a 15% restocking fee. SBM inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used, or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and stocking fee where applicable, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. SBM reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 15% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance, and shipment tracking for returned merchandise. For certain returns, UPS Shipping Labels are provided. Please note that while shipping labels may be issued for your convenience, return shipping charges may be incurred depending on the reason(s) for the return request. If you require an estimate of these return shipping costs, please call Customer Service at (757) 436-3434. If an order ships prior to the cancellation request, the customer is responsible for any freight charges incurred.

 

Billing Terms and Conditions

Terms of payment are within SBM’s sole discretion, and unless otherwise agreed to by SBM, payment must be received by SBM prior to SBM's acceptance of an order. Payment for the products will be made by credit card, wire transfer, or ACH unless credit terms have been agreed to by SBM. Invoices are due and payable within the time period noted on the invoice, measured from the date of the invoice. SBM may invoice parts of an order separately. Orders are not binding upon SBM until accepted by SBM. Any quotations given by SBM will be valid for the period stated on the quotation. The customer will agree to pay interest on all past-due sums at the highest rate allowed by law.

 

 

Shipping Policy

We will gladly ship via your specified carrier; however, we will not ship with certain carriers due to prior unsatisfactory experiences. Please note that for freight collect shipments you are responsible for order tracking once freight is loaded onto truck. In addition, SBM cannot assist you with filing damage claims with your carrier.

Separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on SBM's invoice(s). You are responsible for all applicable sales and other taxes associated with the order. If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on SBM's invoice. Delivery dates are approximate and products may be placed on backorder at SBM’s discretion. Where product availability is limited for any reason, SBM may fill orders or otherwise allocate products in any manner it deems appropriate, including as required by the Defense Production Act. Under no circumstances will SBM be liable for failure to ship, delay in delivery, or for Customer’s failure to receive products by a certain date.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SBM or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or loss of profits to the extent permitted by law. In the event of any issue with a product that you have purchased through SBM, you agree that your sole remedy, if any, is from the manufacturer of such product, in accordance with such manufacturer's warranty, or to seek a return and refund for such product in accordance with SBM's return policy.
